Hello Everyone and As Salaam Alaikum!!!
Hope you all had an amazing Eid ...
Today I am here with the recipe of Sheer Khurma as a lot of my friends and guests who came to my home wanting to know the recipe, as soon as they tasted it.
So let's begin:
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Serves: 6-8 Individuals
Ingredients:
Sewaiyaan- 125 gms
Milk- 1.5 litres
Dry Fruits- Dry Roasted and Chopped
Cardamom- 3- 4 Pods (crushed or powdered)
Kewra Water- 3-4 drops
Sugar- 8 tbsp
Method:
1. Take a pan or kadhai and dry roast the sewaiyaan till they turn light brown in colour. You can roast it with 2-3 tbps of ghee however I preferred to dry roast them. Once the sewaiyaan turns light brown in colour, turn off the flame and keep it aside.

2. Take a large utensil or kadhai and add 1.5 litres of milk in it. Simmer it on low flame for about 15 mins, stirring at short intervals. After 15 mins we will notice that the milk has thickened.

3. Add the dry roasted and chopped dry fruits in it. I have taken Cashews, Almonds, Pistachios; you can add any dry fruits of your choice. Mix well.

4. We will now be adding the crushed cardamom seeds in it and will mix well.

5. Add sugar and kewra water, stir well. You can add more sugar if you prefer the sewaiyaan to be sweeter.

6. Now we will add the dry roasted sewaiyaan and mix well. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes and we will notice that the milk has thickened and the sewaiyaan has turned soft. We will then turn off the flame.

7. Take out the Sheer Khurma in the serving dish and garnish it with dry fruits. Refrigerate for 1 hr and serve chill.
